Texas Tech University Libraries have over 1.6 million titles and over 2.4 million printed volumes in their holdings. In addition to printed resources the main Library subscribes to extensive electronic collections of journals, books and databases. In most cases these materials are available to students, staff and faculty of Texas Tech University. The Library is becoming a major producer of electronic materials, including the thesis and dissertation collection, slide collections, rare books and uniquely held titles. Scanning of materials is done in house through Library staff. Hundreds of computers are available throughout the Library for use by patrons. These computers have an extensive range of software for patron use and link into other systems on campus. They are available on a first come, first served basis. Interlibrary Loan services provide access to materials not held in our collections. Plans are underway to support the publishing of electronic journals at the Texas Tech University Libraries.
The Texas Tech University Libraries have a staff of nearly 150 FTE's and provide a major resource to West Texas schools, colleges and patrons. Consult the Library Schedule for a detailed schedule of hours. The link http://www.library.ttu.edu will take you the main Library Web page where you can find additional information.
For questions about the 3D Animation Lab see the contact information above. We welcome you inquiries, regardless of your location.
